Cris Rodrigo scored the go-ahead goal just 4:16 into the match and was one of four different Bobcats to score in a 5-0 shutout at Northwest on Tuesday.
Jones improved to 5-4 overall and 4-0 away from Ellisville, outscoring its road opponents 22-3. Northwest fell to 1-8.
Rodrigo had a goal and assisted on two others in the first half as Jones jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the break.
Justis Casey connected on a PK in the 27th minute for his eighth goal of the season and
Chris Dempsey added a pair in the 35th and 44th minutes.
Itai Allen joined in on the scoring in the 56th minute on an assist from
Adam Lynch to make the final 5-0.
Jones owned a 19-6 shot advantage. The teams combined for 29 fouls and five yellow cards.
Callum Harley had three saves in the first half and
Peyton Wilbanks played the final 45 with a save.
The Bobcats will head to East Central on Friday, playing the opening 5 p.m. match and not the usual 7 p.m. kick.
