BOONEVILLE – After accounting for 182 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns to lead Jones to a 31-7 win over Hinds, freshman running back
Ladamian Webb has been selected the MACJC Offensive Player of the Week.
Webb went over the century mark for a second time this season on the ground, rushing for 126 yards and two scores, and added three catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.
For the season, Webb has accounted for 491 yards and four touchdowns and is averaging 6.3 yards per carry. He is currently fourth in the nation in rushing, averaging 108.3 yards per game.
The former MSU signee and Alabama's Mr. Football in 2016, Webb rushed for 4,982 yards and 76 touchdowns during his final two seasons at Beauregard High School in Opelika.
Webb and the Bobcats travel to No. 4 Gulf Coast on Thursday night. The game can be seen on
