ELLISVILLE – No. 14 Jones College placed five players in double figures in an 85-66 victory over Tallahassee Community College (Florida) here Tuesday afternoon at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.

LaMiracle Sims (Moss Point) led the way with a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard
Jordan Clark (South Jones) had 13 points with forwards
Ebony Gayden (McComb) and
Endia Holliday (South Jones) scoring 12 points each. Guard
Keyara Jones (Heidelberg) had 10 points.
Jatyjia Jones (Pontotoc) had 12 rebounds and guard
Destiny Haymer (Holmes County Central) had 11 assists.
Jones led 17-13 after the first quarter and used a 14-0 run in the second quarter to go up 37-21. The Lady Bobcats led 42-32 at halftime and 62-49 after three quarters. The Eagles pulled within 72-62 with just over three minutes to play.
Jones was 31-of-69 from the floor for 45 percent, including 7-of-27 from 3-point range. The Lady Bobcats were 16-of-20 from the free throw line.
Sedayjha Payne led Tallahassee with 18 points and Polina Nikulochkina added 17.
The Lady Bobcats, 3-1, will host No. 5 Shelton St. (Alabama) at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 and Coastal Alabama-North at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 5. Both games will air on JCJC.TV.
Tallahassee, 6-3, meets Miami Dade College (Florida) on Dec. 6 in Niceville, Florida.
