MERIDIAN – The 12th-ranked Jones College Lady Bobcats posted its fourth shutout here Friday night at Ray Stadium.
The Lady Bobcats blanked Meridian Community College 6-0 to improve to 5-0 overall, 3-0 in the MACJC South Division.
Rachel Barnaby (Derry, Ireland) had a 'hat trick' to spark the Lady Bobcats.
Barnaby's unassisted goal gave Jones a 1-0 lead. Barnaby scored on assist by Aimee Durn (London, England) to give Jones a 2-0 edge at halftime.
Barnaby assisted Esmeralda Figueroa (Northeast Jones) to make it 3-0 and another Barnaby goal made it 4-0 early in the second half. 
The fifth goal was an 'own goal' with Figueroa getting the assist.
Mikayla Banks (Vicksburg) scored the final goal with Madison LaFontaine (Pass Christian) getting the assist.
Skyler Steede (George County) was in goal for Jones as the Lady Bobcats notched its fourth shutout in five games.
Jones will travel to Itawamba for a 2 p.m. game on Wednesday.
Meridian, 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the division, hosts Mississippi Gulf Coast on Sunday.
