MONROEVILLE, Alabama – The No. 8 Jones College Lady Bobcats whipped the Coastal Alabama-North Lady Eagles, 77-56, here Tuesday night.
Keyara Jones (Heidelberg) led three Jones' players in double figures with 18 points.
LaMiracle Sims (Moss Point) had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Destiny Haymer (Holmes County Central) had 10 points.
Maya Jones (Northwest Rankin) finished with eight points, seven rebounds and seven blocked shots.
Jatyjia Jones (Ingomar) had seven points and
Breonca Ducksworth (West Jones) had five points.
Endia Holliday (South Jones),
Kyia Weathersby (Collins),
Ty Hawkins (Brentwood, New York) and The Lady Bobcats are now 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Bobcats will host Southern-Shreveport (Louisiana) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.
Charlisa Wellington led Lady Eagles, 3-8, with 21 points. Diamond Buchanon added 18.
The Lady Eagles go to Snead St. (Alabama) on Friday.
