PERKINSTON – Kelly Stubbington (London, England) scored three goals to help the Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats blank Mississippi Gulf Coast 5-0 here Tuesday evening at the MGCCC Soccer Complex.
Stubbington scored in the 2^nd minute, followed by a Shannon Durkin (Barnsley, England) goal in the 12^th minute. Stubbington's goal in the 39^th minute gave JCJC a 3-0 lead at intermission.
A goal by Ashleigh Lewis (London, England) in the 49^th minute made it 4-0 and Stubbington secured her 'hat trick' in the 51^st minute.
Caroline Runion (Madison Central) was in goal in the first half and Mia Holmes (Brandon) played the second half.
The Lady Bobcats are now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the MACJC South Division.
JCJC has outscored its opponents 18-0 through three games.
MGCCC falls to 1-1-1 overall, 1-1 in division play.
The Bobcats will go to Meridian for a 5 p.m. game on Friday.
MGCCC hosts Copiah-Lincoln.
