ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College is rated No. 13 in the latest NJCAA football poll.
The Bobcats whipped Mississippi Delta 51-3 last week to improve to 2-0 on the season. JCJC was rated No. 15 in the previous poll.
Other MACJC schools in the poll are Copiah-Lincoln at No. 3, Northwest at No. 5, Itawamba at No. 10 and East Mississippi at No. 14.
Snow (Utah) is rated No. 1, followed by Butler (Kansas).

In the "Dirty 30" rankings, which include both NJCAA and California schools, the Bobcats are listed in the "Others on the Bubble" category.
East Mississippi is ranked first in the "Dirty 30" poll, followed by Northwest. Co-Lin is No. 10, Itawamba is No. 14, Holmes is No. 22 and Mississippi Gulf Coast is No. 30. Other MACJC schools receiving votes are Northeast and Hinds.
