RAYMOND – The Jones County Junior College men's tennis team won its seventh straight match here Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats improved to 7-1 with an 8-1 victory over Hinds Community College.
JCJC visits Mississippi Gulf Coast for a 2 p.m. match on Thursday and will host Holmes at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Hinds travels to Tupelo to meet Itawamba on Friday and Northeast Mississippi on Saturday.

Eric Swisher whipped Aaron Gray and Austin Pevey in No. 1 doubles, 8-1.
Josiah Lim and
Austin Baskin defeated Robert Rhett and Melvin McNair in No. 2 doubles, 8-2.
Robert Kiewit and
Josh Hester downed Peter Bethea and Kyle Burton in No. 3 doubles, 8-1.
Lightsey defeated Gray in No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-2. Lim whipped Pevey in No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0. Baskin blanked McNair in No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Kiewit defeated Bethea in No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-0. Hester shut out Burton in No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Swisher fell to Hinds' Rhett in No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-4.
In extra matches, JCJC's
Taylor Tamberg beat Jamarcus Burns, 8-4, and Jesse Stevens, 8-2.
The Eagles fall to 0-7.
