ELLISVILLE – The Jones County Junior College Bobcats open the MACJC/Region 23 playoffs with a lengthy road trip.
The Bobcats travel to Senatobia for a 1 p.m. match on Tuesday vs. the Northwest Mississippi Rangers. JCJC is the No. 3 team from the South Division, while Northwest is the No. 2 team in the North.
The winner of the game will advance to the MACJC/Region 23 Tournament Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Hinds Community College in Raymond.

Braxton Taylor has been in goal for almost every minute of play this season. He has allowed 20 goals, a 1.57 average.

The Rangers are 11-6-1 on the season.
Northwest is led by the state's leading scorer, Lance Crabtree. He has 15 goals, five assists and 35 points. Bryant Young has six goals, six assists and 18 points.
Matthew Williams has been goal all season for Northwest and has allowed 24 goals.
The Rangers defeated the Bobcats 6-1 back on Aug. 29.
