Freshman pitcher Sterling James was outstanding in six appearances in February for the nationally-ranked Bobcats.

James was 2-0 with a complete game and 1.83 ERA in 15.1 innings of work in the circle. She struck out 16 against one walk and only allowed four extra-base hits.
