Beth Owen, a sophomore from Stone, is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Owen captured the No. 3 singles championship in the MACJC/Region 23 Tournament in Meridian. She defeated Katy Clark of Copiah-Lincoln in the finals, 6-2, 6-2.
Owen helped the Lady Bobcats win the MACJC/Region 23 Tournament.
JCJC will now head to Waco, Texas, for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament May 6-11.
