This week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week is Nique Cherry.
Cherry, a 6-foot-1 sophomore forward from Heidelberg, had 21 points and 23 rebounds to help No. 9 JCJC rally from a 13-point deficit and defeat Itawamba, 75-71. She also had 13 points and 14 rebounds in an 89-52 win over Coastal Alabama-Monroeville. 
She had three 'double-doubles' in all three of JCJC's games this season.
Cherry has signed with East Carolina University.
