Tatyana Lofton is this week's JCJC Women's Athlete of the Week.
Lofton, a 5-foot-9 freshman guard from Madison-Ridgeland Academy, hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds remaining to lift the Jones County Lady Bobcats to a 58-57 victory at Mississippi Gulf Coast in the South Division opener for both teams. Lofton led JCJC with 17 points and also had three steals and two assists.
