Bridges Johnson

Bridges Johnson, M.Ed., LAT, ATC, was hired in January 2025 as an assistant athletic trainer at Jones, returning to his alma mater.

Johnson spent the last four years at Pearl River, employed and contracted through Encore Rehab, covering all 11 Wildcat sports. Along with his athletic training duties, he was also an adjunct instructor for the Health, Physical, and Recreation Department. 

Johnson was a graduate assistant trainer for the Bobcats during the 2019-2020 seasons and also a student trainer in 2015-2016.

He spent the summer of 2018 interning with the Texas A&M football program.

The Stringer native was a three-year letterman in football for the Red Devils and a member of the 2012 1A State Champions.

Johnson got his undergrad at Southern Miss in athletic training and his masters in Interscholastic Athletic Administration from William Carey.

A Jones legacy, his grandfather and aunt both played basketball in Ellisville and his mother performed with Touch of Gold.

Johnson is married to the former Lauren Curtis of Biloxi. They have two dogs, Moose and Fisher.
