Biography

2022: One of the MACCC's and nation's best pitchers for a second straight season...NFCA First Team All-American and NJCAA Third Team All-American...First Team All-MACCC...broke the school's all-time strikeout record with 363 career punch outs...was 17-6 with a 2.47 ERA, 13 complete games, five shutouts and 189 strikeouts in 141.2 innings...struck out a season-high 13 three different times...also hit .359 with seven doubles, four triples, four home runs and 20 RBIs...had 13 multi-hit games...24-for-24 in stolen bases...MACCC Pitcher of the Week (5/3).

2021: Had a standout freshman season as a two-way player...NFCA and NJCAA First Team All-American...NJCAA Division II All-Tournament Team nod and Most Outstanding Pitcher of the national tournament...NJCAA All-Region 23...in the circle, was 17-6 with a 1.60 ERA, 13 complete games, a save and 174 strikeouts in 28 appearances...had four double-digit strikeout games including a season-high 16 in a 2-0 win over Gulf Coast in the conference tournament (5/6)...also threw a season-high nine innings vs Itawamba (5/14)...started the year 4-4 in the circle before reeling off 12 consecutive wins...five-time MACCC Pitcher of the Week selection...hit .352 at the plate with five doubles, four triples, four home runs and 20 RBIs...also scored 36 runs and was 19-for-20 in stolen bases...had a season-best three hits at Hinds (4/15)...hit a walk-off home run to beat Northwest 8-7 in eight innings (3/19).

High School: Played for head coach Kacie Roberson at Philadelphia...a four-time 2A state champion...senior season cut short due to COVID-19...Clarion-Ledger All-State selection...2019 Premier Preps of East Mississippi softball team...Meridian Star Athlete of the Week...as a junior, was 9-5 in the circle with 104 strikeouts and also posted a .425 batting average with six home runs...tossed a 16-strikeout no-hitter vs No. 1 Neshoba Central to snap the Lady Rockets' 64-game win streak...also a point guard on the basketball team.
