Longtime Jackson Prep soccer coach Jon Marcus Duncan joined the Bobcats' women's soccer staff as a volunteer assistant ahead of the 2025 season.
The Prep graduate took over as the boys’ and girls’ soccer coach in 2000 and coached the Patriots for 25 seasons. He closed with 862 wins and 30 state titles between the two programs, the most all-time wins for a high school soccer coach in the state of Mississippi.
Duncan won his 832nd career game Aug. 7, 2024 against Heritage Academy to cement his place in history.
Duncan's oldest daughter, Josie, played the 2022-23 seasons at Jones College and his youngest daughter, Abby, is a freshman on this year's team.
