Dalton Morgan returns to the sidelines for a third season this fall.
Morgan was a volunteer assistant coach in 2023 and enters his second as a full-time assistant in 2025.
Jones has sported a 25-6-5 record in his first two seasons and won a conference title last year, the program's fifth in seven seasons.
The former Bobcat led Jones to its first-ever conference championship as a sophomore in 2018 and a then school-record 14 wins. He had eight goals and two assists.
The Ellisville native moved on to Belhaven University after Jones and had a fantastic career, starting in 41 matches and scoring 18 goals with a pair of assists over the 2019-21 seasons. He helped the Blazers to three consecutive American Southwest Conference Quarterfinal appearances and was twice named and All-ASC selection.
Morgan received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from BU in business administration and sports administration.
Morgan has spent the past four seasons coaching at Jackson Futbol Club and two seasons with Mississippi Rush. He also hosts private lessons in the summertime.
