Hanna Burnette enters her fourth year as an assistant cheer coach at Jones and doubles at the College in Enrollment Services as a campus tour coordinator and Bobcat Brigade advisor.
The Bobcats won their first-ever UCA Open Coed National Championship in 2021 and with Burnette on staff in both 2022 and 2024.
The Laurel native cheered at Jones from 2014-2016 and went on to cheer at Mississippi State where she graduated in kinesiology with a concentration in sports studies and a minor in business administration.
Burnette has been coaching cheer since 2014 and took her first head coaching job at East Mississippi Community College in 2017.
Burnette is married to Garrette and the pair have a daughter, Karter and Son, Kullen.
