Prior to Jones: Redshirted his true freshman season at Georgia Tech in the fall of 2023 and transferred to South Alabama in the spring of 2024.

2024: Played in seven games and finished with 10 tackles...had a season-high four tackles vs. Southwest (10/24).

High School: Played for head coach Jason Massey at Leroy (Ala.)...helped the Bears to a 13-1 record and AHSAA 1A State Championship his senior year...recorded 75 tackles, including 37 tackles-for-loss, and seven sacks...rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the No. 56 prospect out of Alabama by 247Sports...tabbed first-team all-state by the Alabama Sports Writers Association in 2022...Class 1A Lineman of the Year...also invited to the Alabama North-South All-Star Game...named one of the top defensive lineman in Alabama by Down South Football...was named to Icon Sports’ All-Junior team in 2021.
