Biography

2023: Rushed for a team-best 476 yards and four touchdowns in eight games...posted back-to-back 100-yard games at Pearl River (10/12) and Southwest (10/21)...added 21 receptions for 234 yards and a score.

Prior to Jones: Played in three games for head coach David Cutcliffe and Duke during the 2021 season...recorded nine carries for 29 yards in games against Virginia Tech, Louisville and Miami...returned two kickoffs for 47 yards...on the field for 48 snaps...redshirted the 2022 season at Jacksonville State.

High School: Played for head coach Ryan Locke at Etowah...tabbed a three-star prospect by ESPN.com, 247Sports.com and Rivals.com...charted as the No. 47 running back in the nation by ESPN.com...nominated for Alabama Mr. Football...as a senior, was a first team all-state selection by the ASWA after running for 1,813 yards and 25 touchdowns and catching 25 passes for 375 yards and four scores...as a junior, rushed 98 times for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns while catching 21 passes for 412 yards and five scores...named the Etowah County Offensive Player of the Year as a junior...amassed 1,200 yards and 10 TDs on 118 carries as a sophomore...two-time all-area and all-region honoree...named team MVP after both sophomore and junior seasons...invited to play in the North/South All-Star Game by the Alabama High School Athletic Association...lead Etowah to a 33-7 record over last three seasons...a four-year letterwinner in football and basketball...earned Etowah County Player of the Year honors in 2019-20 on the hardwood...held 24 scholarship offers.

Son of Tommy and April Davis...father lettered in basketball at Troy University from 1991-93 where he helped the Trojans to the 1992 NJCAA DII Championship Game and was part of the highest single-scoring game in NCAA history (399 points) on January 12, 1992 vs. DeVry...brother, TJ, ran track at Carson-Newman...also has two other brothers, Tyson Davis and Jay Green...nickname is TD...Baltimore Ravens fan...studying sports medicine...born July 29, 2002.
