2020: Played in all five games during a COVID-shortened 2020 season... had 11 total tackles with four solos and seven assists... had one pass breakup vs. Mississippi Gulf Coast (11/19) and .5 TFL vs. East Central (10/1)... had two solo stops vs. Hinds (10/15).

High School: Played for head coach Michael Ashford at Lanier...helped the Bulldogs to a 6-5 record and playoff appearance last season...credited with 99 tackles and eight interceptions...all-state selection...4A Defensive Back MVP.

Personal: Son of Ashley Simmons...has three siblings, Javarious (21), Quindarius (19) and Jazanea (15)...nickname is Savage...studying mass communication...born April 11, 2002.
