ELLISVILLE – No. 12 Jones continued its dominance over No. 10 Hinds on Tuesday night at the Bobcat Soccer Complex, blanking the Eagles 2-0.
Jones improved to 6-2, 1-0 MACCC and handed Hinds, 6-1, 0-1 its first loss of the year.
The Bobcats improved to 9-0-3 the last 12 meetings.

Mario Novaku scored 5:18 apart in the first half and the two goals would hold up.
Jones managed just four shots on goal, with two of them finding the back of the net.
Brax Rials, the reigning MACCC Goalkeeper of the Week, stopped the lone shot he faced.
The teams combined for 29 fouls and six yellow cards. Jones owned a 5-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Bobcats travel to Itawamba on Friday, Sept. 19 for a 4 p.m. kick.
