FULTON – No. 7 Jones saw its 12-match unbeaten streak snapped Friday afternoon at Itawamba, with the Indians scoring a pair of second half goals to win 2-1.

ICC stayed unbeaten in league play at 5-0-3 and 9-2-3 overall. JC fell to 11-3-1, 6-1-1.

It's Jones' second MACCC loss in the last four years. 

Stanley Georgiou's header off a Matt Reed corner gave the Bobcats a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute.

The Indians would tie the match in the 51st on a free kick from just outside the box. Villads Juma headed in Isaac Penate's service in.

Will Barber would then give ICC the game-winner with under 14 to play, scoring top shelf after Gulherme Ferri's ball into the box.

Brax Rials pitched a first half shutout in net with two saves. Joshua Goodwin took the loss allowing both goals.

Jones hosts Northwest on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
