SUMMIT – Matt Reed scored a brace on a pair of free kicks and Braden Buchanan scored off a penalty kick to cap No. 7 Jones College's 4-0 win Tuesday night over Southwest at John I. Hurst Stadium.

Jones improved to 11-2-1 overall, 6-0-1 in MACCC play. They're now unbeaten their last 12 matches after an 0-2 start.

Southwest fell to 5-7-1, 2-5-1 MACCC.

Reed's free kick in the 24th and 53rd minutes gave Jones a 2-0 lead.

Amin Eltahir's 80th minute goal and Buchanan's PK capped the scoring at 4-0 in the 85th minute.

Jones outshot Southwest 18-1.

The Bobcats travel to Itawamba on Friday, Oct. 17 for a makeup match at 1 p.m.
