Luke Dickson had a hat-trick and added the game-winning assist in the 74th minute as No. 7 Jones held off No. 14 Hinds, 4-3, to advance to Saturday's regional final.
Jones will take on Pearl River at 5 p.m. for the Gulf District's automatic bid to the national tournament in Huntsville, Ala., Nov. 17-23.
Dickson's first career hat-trick gave Jones a 3-1 lead at the half, but the Eagles rallied to tie the match at 3-3 with goals in the 52nd and 59th minutes.
With Jones leading 3-2, a bad pass from
Andrew Kravette just outside the Bobcat box led to the tying goal from Oscar Tovar.
Dylan Dykes broke the tie in the 74th minute when he took a rebound save from Dickson's shot and beat the Hinds keeper for the goal.
Hinds was held to three shots the final 20 minutes as the Bobcats hung on for the win.
The final shot tally was 17-16 Jones, but the Bobcats out-shot the Eagles 10-5 on net.
Brax Rials had a pair of saves to improve to 7-0-3 between the posts. Xavier Ezell had six saves for the Eagles.
Jones and Pearl River have split the last 10 meetings, including both this season.
