ELLISVILLE – It was over early Saturday night.
Jones bounced back from its first home loss in 13 matches with an 11-0 victory over Andrew College to improve to 3-1-1 on the young season.
Taylor Richardson scored 1:39 in off a great pass from
Luke Dickson and completed his second hat-trick of the season in the 11th minute.
He added a fourth goal in the 14th minute,
Callum Black scored off a penalty kick in the 29th and Dickson made it 6-0 at the half.
Jones continued to pour it on in the second half with
Noah Fayard scoring twice,
Miguel Magagnin scoring off a free kick and both Dickson and
Broc Bookout adding goals.
Denim Lombard had two second half assists.
The Bobcats outshot the Fighting Tigers 35-1, including 24-0 on net.
Joshua Goodwin played the first 45 in net and
Liam McGrath the final 45. Neither faced a shot.
Jones heads to No. 10 Georgia Military College (3-0) Saturday, Sept. 9 for the first of four straight road matches.
