ELLISVILLE – No. 14 Jones College blanked No. 22 Northwest 9-0 here Tuesday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
The Bobcats are now 14-2 overall and 8-0 in the MACCC.
Jones will play Loyola and Dillard in New Orleans on Wednesday. They host No. 24 Copiah-Lincoln at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Northwest hosts Itawamba Thursday.

Charlie Brady (Australia) and
Tanner Bevard (Sacred Heart) defeated Samuel Turner and Bratton Willoughby in No. 2 doubles, 8-4.
Jackson Peoples (Northwest Rankin) and
Prescott Schaumberg (Indianola Academy) beat Kaleb Parish and John David Nelson in No. 3 doubles, 8-5.
Nader whipped Gordon in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Brewer downed Albert in No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-3. Brady defeated Parish in No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Bevard knocked off Willoughby in No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Peoples blanked Samuel Turner in No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and
Hudson Hans (Moss Point) whipped Nelson in No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
The Rangers fall to 4-5 and 4-2.
