RIDGELAND – Acacia Rodriguez scored eight minutes into the match, and the rout was on, as No. 2 Jones cruised past No. 11 Northwest, 6-0, to advance to Sunday's MACCC Championship game.

Winners of 13 straight, Jones will face Holmes (13-1-2) in a rematch of this past spring's conference championship. The winner will earn the league's automatic berth into the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. 

Zylah Mulligan and Kendyl Terrell scored goals in the 24th and 36th minutes to give the Bobcats a 3-0 lead at the half.

Jones (13-1) outshot Northwest 14-4 in the opening period and 25-9 for the match.

Kirsty Cameron found Terrell in the 55th minute to extend the lead to 4-0.

Leahmae Keogh then scored back-to-back to seal the lopsided win. 

Makenna Yarrow had four saves in 60:12 in net and Danae Fowler finished things out.
