SPARTANBURG, South Carolina – The Jones College Lady Bobcats defeated the homestanding Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers 4-2 here Friday afternoon.

Esmeralda Figueroa (Northeast Jones) had two goals for Jones with Natasha Keen (Jersey, UK) and Rachel Barnaby (Derry, Ireland) adding goals. Emily Riley (Gautier), Keen, Barnaby and Anna Crane (Pearl) added assists. 

Jones is now 5-4 and will meet No. 8 Daytona State (Florida) at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Spartanburg is now 5-2-1.
