                     SUMMIT – The Jones College Bobcats handed Southwest Mississippi its first loss of the season here Tuesday afternoon.
The Bobcats scored two goals in the final 10:12 and beat the Bears, 2-1.
Jones is now 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the MACJC South Division. Jones, Southwest and Pearl River are tied for first place midway through the division race.
Trailing 1-0, the Bobcats got the equalizer at the 79:48 mark when 
Justis Casey (Greene County) scored.
At 83:43, 
Cris Rodrigo (Northwest Rankin) put the Bobcats ahead with another unassisted goal.
Current MACJC Goalkeeper of the Week, 
Callum Harley (Whitley Bay, England), was in goal for the entire game for Jones.
The Bears got their goal in the first half at 14:33 when Felipe Madero scored on an assist by Joaquin Bermejillo.
The Bobcats will travel to East Central for a 4 p.m. match on Wednesday and be at home for a 7 p.m. Friday game vs. Holmes.
Southwest, 7-1 overall, hosts Andrew College (Georgia) on Wednesday.
Jones and Southwest open the second half of division play in Ellisville on Oct. 3.
