ELLISVILLE – The Jones County Junior College Bobcats rolled past Copiah-Lincon 7-0 here Tuesday night at Bobcat Soccer Field.
JCJC scored three goals in the first six minutes en route to winning its second straight contest.
The JCJC men are 2-3 overall, 2-2 in division play.
Joseph Todd (Belfast, Northern Ireland) and
Kieran Robins (Norwich, England) each had a hat trick for the Bobcats.
Todd scored in second minute and
Mateo Henman (Norwich, England) scored in the third minute off a free kick assist by Robins. Todd then scored on a free kick in the sixth minute.
Robins then scored in the 38
th minute, the 40
th minute and the 44
th minute to give the Bobcats a commanding 6-0 lead at halftime.
The only goal in the second half came when Todd scored in the 72
nd minute off an assist by Robins.
Darren Ross (Belfast, Northern Ireland) was in goal in the first half and had one save.
Braxton Taylor (Northeast Jones) played the second half and had two saves.
The Bobcats go to Pearl River for a 7 p.m. game on Friday.
The Wolves fall to 1-5 overall and 0-4 in division play.
Co-Lin hosts Southwest on Friday.
