WESSON – Jones County Junior College posted a South Division victory here Tuesday night in MACJC soccer.
The Bobcats defeated Copiah-Lincoln, 4-1.
JCJC is now 4-3 overall and 3-1 in South Division play. Co-Lin drops to 0-5 and 0-3.
The Bobcats got on the board first in the 18^th minute when Moses Muhubao scored off an assist by Michael Godley.
Muhubao then scored an unassisted goal in the 22^nd minute to make it 2-0.
Co-Lin's Dalton Holliday scored in the 55^th minute on a free kick to make it 2-1.
JCJC's Jake Holland made it 3-1 off an assist by Austin Herrington in the 65^th minute.
Holland scored the final goal in the 80^th minute on a penalty kick.
Braxton Taylor was in goal for the Bobcats.
JCJC hosts Pearl River at 7 p.m. on Friday, while Co-Lin goes to Meridian.
