WESSON – Jones County Junior College posted a South Division victory here Tuesday night in MACJC soccer.
The Bobcats defeated Copiah-Lincoln, 4-1.
JCJC is now 4-3 overall and 3-1 in South Division play. Co-Lin drops to 0-5 and 0-3.
The Bobcats got on the board first in the 18
th minute when
Moses Muhubao scored off an assist by
Michael Godley.
Muhubao then scored an unassisted goal in the 22
nd minute to make it 2-0.
Co-Lin's Dalton Holliday scored in the 55
th minute on a free kick to make it 2-1.
JCJC's
Jake Holland made it 3-1 off an assist by
Austin Herrington in the 65
th minute.
Holland scored the final goal in the 80
th minute on a penalty kick.
Braxton Taylor was in goal for the Bobcats.
JCJC hosts Pearl River at 7 p.m. on Friday, while Co-Lin goes to Meridian.
