MERIDIAN – The Jones County Junior College Bobcats opened the second of MACJC South Division play on a highly successful note here Tuesday night.
The Bobcats whipped the Meridian Community Eagles, 5-1.
JCJC is now 6-4 overall, 4-2 in division play. Meridian drops to 2-10 and 1-5.
JCJC received goals from
Tanner Gilliland, Donaldo Martinez,
Moses Muhubao,
Dung Vu and
Austin Herrington.
Parker Gregg, Martinez,
Rodolfo Lopez and
Dilan Pryor had assists.
Braxton Taylor was in goal the entire game.
JCJC led 3-0 at halftime.
Jordan Walton scored for the Eagles.
The Bobcats host Southwest at 7 p.m. on Friday at Bobcat Soccer Field. Meridian hosts Pearl River on Friday.
