Calder Mikell is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Mikell, a redshirt freshman right-handed pitcher from Petal, tossed a complete-game, 7-inning 1-hitter as Jones County defeated Arkansas Baptist, 1-0. He only walked one and struck out six.The only hit he allowed was a two-out single in the fourth inning. Mikell, 3-0 on the year, is a transfer from Ole Miss.
