Kelly Byrd is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Byrd, a freshman third baseman from Copiah Academy, was 2-for-3 with two home runs, two runs batted in, one walk and three runs scored in Jones County's 12-4 win over Lansing Community College (Michigan). For the week, she was 5-for-12 with two home runs, five RBIs, four walks and four runs scored.
