Bruce Stevens is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Stevens, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward from Bay Springs, averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Bobcats. In a 73-53 win at Hinds, he had 14 points, 11 rebounds and was 6-of-10 from the floor. In an 89-71 win over No. 22 Miss. Gulf Coast, Stevens had 36 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. He was 12-of-19 from the field (2-of-4 from 3-point range) and 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Stevens has recorded eight 'double-doubles' this season, including 'double-doubles' in six straight games.
