Bruce Stevens is this week's JCJC Male Athlete of the Week. Stevens, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward from Bay Springs High School, had 27 points and 21 rebounds in Jones County's 102-100, double overtime loss at Mississippi Gulf Coast. Stevens was 10-of-15 from the floor and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. He also added three blocked shots. Stevens has been named both the MACJC Player of the Week and the NJCAA Men's Division I Player of the Week for his performance.
