Ty Hill had an excellent game in his first start as a linebacker for the Jones County Junior College Bobcats. Hill had six solo tackles, 10 assists, 16 total tackles and 1 TFL for four yards as the 19th-ranked Bobcats dropped a 42-20 decision to No. 16 Northwest Mississippi in the season opener on Aug. 29. Hill is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound sophomore from Brookhaven. JCJC visits Itawamba in its next game at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3.
