Helping the Bobcats reach No. 16 in the polls with a solid month of March, newcomer Billy Garrity has been honored for his play at the plate.

Garrity hit .311 in 20 starts with three doubles, three triples, five home runs and 16 RBIs. He led the Bobcats in three of the four categories for the month.

On the season, the USM transfer is hitting a team-best .321 with eight homers and 23 runs driven in.
