Sophomore outfielder Kirkland Trahan had a big, season-opening month of February for Jones College baseball.

Trahan hit .486 in 11 starts, going 18-for-37 from the plate with three doubles, two home runs and 12 RBIs. He also drew seven walks, scored six runs and slugged .730 for the month.
