Tirus Smith is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Smith, a 6-foot-8 sophomore from Petal, had 13 points and 8 rebounds as the Bobcats defeated Southwest, 67-59. He had 11 points and 6 rebounds in an 84-81 overtime loss to East Central.  Smith is a transfer from Texas-El Paso.
