Maya Jones is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Jones, a 6-foot-2 sophomore from Northwest Rankin, helped the No. 4 Jones College Lady Bobcats to a 90-64 win over Southwest with 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 blocked shot and 1 assist. The win clinched the third straight MACJC South Division title for the Lady Bobcats. In a 74-71 loss to East Central, she had 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot.
