Luther Woullard, a sophomore leftfielder from D'Iberville, is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Woullard batted .384 with two home runs and five RBIs last week. He homered in a 7-5 win in game one vs. Illinois Central and followed that up in game two with a home run, double and 2 RBIs in an 8-1 win over ICC. He had an RBI in a 5-2 win over Shelton St. (AL) and was 2-for-4 with a double and 2 stolen bases in a 5-4 loss to Shelton St. (AL).
For the season, Woullard is hitting .429 with three home runs and 16 RBIs. He has already signed with the University of New Orleans.
