Karli Perque, a sophomore from Cabrini High School in Westwego, Louisiana, is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
In a 2-1 win over No. 10 East Central, Perque went 7 innings, allowed 1 run, 4 hits, walked 2 and struck out 11.  In a 10-1, 5-inning win over Northwest, she pitched 3 innings, allowed 1 run (unearned), 2 hits, walked 1 and struck out 4. 
For the season, Perque is 5-1 with a 0.70 ERA. In 40 innings pitched, she has allowed 4 earned runs, walked 16 and struck out 54. 
She leads the MACJC and is fourth in the nation in strikeouts.
