Taylor Wallace, a sophomore from Jackson Prep, is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Wallace punted 7 times for a 38.0 average as No. 8 Jones County beat Mississippi Gulf Coast, 38-24. Wallace, who kicked into the win on most of his punts, flipped the field twice in the game. He had two punts inside the MGCCC 20-yard line. 
Because of excellent hangtime and coverage, Wallace has allowed few return yards this season. 
He is currently second in the MACJC, averaging 38.4 yards per punt.
