Third baseman Kelly Byrd (Copiah Academy) is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Byrd was named the NJCAA Division II Player of the Week and the MACJC Player of the Week earlier in the week..
Byrd had an amazing week for the Lady Bobcats as she batted .647 with five home runs, 18 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
She had two home runs and four RBIs in an 8-0 win over East Mississippi. She had a home run and three RBIs in a 12-1 win over Mississippi Delta and went 4-for-4 with two home runs and nine RBIs in a 17-0 win over MDCC.
