Maurice Dunlap is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Dunlap, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard, had an amazing week shooting the ball as No. 8 Jones County went 3-0 in the tournament. He was 16-of-31 from 3-point range during the week.
He had 24 points, including a 6-of-11 effort from 3-point range, in a 107-80 win over Northwest. He had 23 points, including another 6- of-11 effort from 3-point range, in an 87-72 victory over Holmes. He had 22 points and was 4-of-10 from 3-point range and as the Bobcats won the championship with a 77-52 win over Northeast.
Dunlap has already signed with Jacksonville State.Â
